Lately, my mind has been running wild with all the projects that I want to make. Maybe it's the slight shift in the weather. Or maybe the kids being off at school all day, giving me a chance to focus on creative things. Whatever it is, my "to make" list has gotten so long that my brain can't keep up with it. So a brain dump is in order!
Things I want to make:
So Faded Sweater by Drea Renee Knits
I want to make this a few times. For this one, I saw this version by a maker named littlefall on Ravelry and decided that I needed it in the same colors. So I bought the same colors that she listed from Knit Picks. I may reverse the color combos so that the reds are on top.

I am making this again in the cropped sleeve length using yarn from Sewrella Yarn that I purchased last year. These two sweaters are high on my list because the yarn weight is light enough for the mild winters we have here.
Bean and Olive Sweater by Drea Renee Knits
For my daughter. She has a sweater that I made her from last year that still fits so this one can be put on the back burner for just a moment.
A sweater for my son
I don't know what pattern to use yet, but I have enough yarn in this color from my mother in law to make a sweater.
Christmas Smooth Operator Socks by Susan B Anderson
These will be done in 3 different color ways of Knit Picks' Felici Sock Yarn.
Deren Pullover Sweater by Jacqueline Cieslak
The major decision here is whether or not to stripe the mohair or just use the white. To be determined...
Woolfork Longsleeve Top by Jaqueline Cieslak
This would be lovely made up in striped linen fabric. I may put the pockets on it too. We shall see!
Kids Christmas Socks
Simple socks for the kids with heels, toes and cuffs in one color and the body of the sock in the other.
Things that I have finished:
City Limits by Tanis Lavallee
The photo is from when I was finishing the sleeve. More pics to come soon! This one just needs to be blocked and then it's ready to wear!
Smooth Operator Socks by Susan B Anderson
For my husband to test the sizing for Christmas socks. I knitted them in Knit Picks bare yarn and then dyed them using Kool Aid. Kool Aid dying is always so much fun!
Things that I am currently working on:
Smooth Operator Socks by Susan B Anderson
For me. These have been put down while I try to get the Boho Blush Shawl done.
Boho Blush Shawl by Drea Renee Knits
We are going to a gala this weekend and I have to finish this by Friday so it will be blocked and ready to go for Saturday! No pressure! I didn't have quite enough yarn so I will have to bind off when I start running low. It's a little nerve wracking but hopefully it will all turn out. I'm definitely going to make it again with the correct amount of yarn.
Westfall Pullover by Moira Engel
This one is for my husband. It's been slow going so I've aloud myself a little grace with it. I'd like to have it done by Christmas.
That's all of the projects at the moment.
That should help a little with mental preparation for project planning. As part of our minimization project, I have been trying not to buy new yarn and to work with what I have until all these projects have been dwindled down. There are definitely some projects that I want to knit that I don't have yarn for yet so hopefully that will inspire me to keep knitting!
On that note, I'm going to go work on the shawl and hope that I get it done in time for the gala!
